The DOL 45 is a robust capacitive relay sensor designed for general detection of feed, grain, and solid materials.
The sensor offers excellent functionality and is easy to operate. The DOL 45 can be configured with or without time delay, and you can set delays for switching on or switching off. The time delay begins when the sensor becomes active (switch‑on delay) or inactive (switch‑off delay). The relay switches once the delay time has elapsed.

The DOL 45 sensor is designed for general detection of feed, grain, and solid materials. Capacitive sensors are typically used as empty/full/level indicators in tanks, silos, and containers. With its powerful built‑in relay, the DOL 45 can directly control many functions.
The DOL 45 sensor has an LED that lights up when the switch becomes active. The sensor provides both NO (normally open) and NC (normally closed) outputs. All settings can be easily changed at any time.
The sensor includes several special features that enhance usability:
The DOL 45 contains a powerful 5A relay with switching functionality. The sensor is available in two voltage variants:
Instead of a mechanical switch, the sensor uses an electronic switch, which significantly improves reliability - especially because the electronics are fully encapsulated in a special plastic material. This provides maximum protection against humidity and other external influences, even in harsh environments.
The sensor is CE, UL, and C‑UL certified, and it has high resistance to electrical noise from telecommunications (e.g., mobile phones) and transient disturbances (e.g., motors or contactors). This greatly increases the overall reliability of the sensor.
The DOL 45 can be easily mounted in a plastic cable gland, or externally using a flange solution. The sensor also comes with screws, providing several mounting possibilities.
The DOL 45 can be installed inside a feeder, or mounted on feeders, hoppers, or silos by drilling a hole and using the included plastic gland.
With a specially designed T‑piece, the DOL 45 can also be mounted on 40–60 mm tubes in conveyor systems using only the T‑piece and three zip ties. This mounting method allows adjustments to be made at the end of the sensor’s cable - something not possible with standard sensors.
