The ClearFarm Project focuses on improving animal welfare through precision livestock farming (PLF) technology.

The ClearFarm Platform

The ClearFarm Platform monitors animal welfare and environmental impact in the whole production chain of dairy cows and pigs. The platform will provide producers and consumers with easy to understand information to assist their decision-making.

ClearFarm is the result of the close collaboration between six universities and research centers, five small and medium enterprises, and three large companies.

The project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation program.
