The iDOL 120 Chill sensor is the world’s first sensors that accurately measures the experienced temperature amongst the animals and not just the physical air temperature.

This sensor is able to measure the experienced temperature amongst the animals, gives huge benefits in climate control systems. Traditionally, the chill effect on the animals has been based on measurements of temperature and in rare cases also air speed but most often estimated air speed. This might lead to over-estimating the chill effect, in which case the animals might actually be too hot. Or the opposite, under-estimating the chill effect, in which case the animals might actually be too cold. iDOL 120 Chill Sensor goes quite a bit further to also include the effect of animals and building parts to calculate the experienced temperature by the animals, giving a highly accurate measurement of the experienced temperature.
